www.artsina.com === The Solar Stirling Plant operates by using a parabolic reflector dishes to gather all the sun rays which are focused and concentrated into one single spot — which is in focus of the parabolic dish, where the stirling engine will be placed. The Stirling Engine Stirling engines rely on external heat to expand a fixed amount of air in a sealed chamber. This pressure is a Stirling engine’s life blood. This process involves compressing cool air, heating that air, using its expansion to do work, then cooling it again and repeating the cycle. External heat can be anything that produces heat that does not also damage the engine. In small engines, this can be the engine wall. When external heat comes through the heat exchanger (the cylinder wall), it expands the air inside it. The heat remains there. When the cool piston moves down, it forces air through the regenerator. visit www.artsina.com
